What Cont'd is

Cont'd is a screenplay intelligence platform. It reads FDX files from your connected Google Drive and surfaces role-specific analysis for development executives, producers, and showrunners. It reads scripts. It does not write them.

What data we collect

• —Your email address. Used to create your account and send sign-in links. We never share it with third parties for marketing.
• —Google Drive access. We read FDX files from folders you explicitly connect. We do not read or index other files in your Drive.
• —Script content. Parsed structurally to produce analysis. Stored encrypted at rest on Google Cloud SQL (Europe, West 1).
• —Usage data. Page views and feature interactions, collected via server-side logs. No third-party analytics scripts.

What we don't do

• —We do not use your screenplay content to train AI models.
• —We do not sell your data to third parties.
• —We do not read Drive files outside the folders you connect.
• —We do not store your Google credentials — only OAuth tokens scoped to Drive read access.

How we protect your data

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We run on Google Cloud infrastructure in the US. Script content is stored in a private Cloud SQL database, not accessible from the public internet. Session tokens are short-lived and stored in httpOnly cookies.

WGA compliance

Cont'd is designed to operate within WGA guidelines around AI and writing assistance tools. It surfaces analysis about screenplays — it does not generate screenplay content. Your scripts are never used to train generative models.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@contd.app. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
